Bay Hill Orlando Florida

Bay Hill Club & Lodge is an exclusive golf club and hotel nestled in the heart of Bay Hill, Florida. Located in a picturesque suburb southwest of Orlando, this private sanctuary offers a blend of luxury, sport and leisure.

Crafted in 1961 by the renowned Dick Wilson, the original 18 holes at Bay Hill (comprising the Champion and Challenger nines) are celebrated as some of Wilson's finest creations. These courses showcase his signature design ethos, featuring subtly raised greens to enhance both visibility and drainage, a hallmark of Wilson's architectural brilliance. Following Wilson's passing, Bob Simmons added a third dimension to the golfing experience with the Charger nine, expanding the play to a comprehensive 27 holes.

Spanning over 270 acres and bordered by the scenic Butler Chain of Lakes, Bay Hill presents a golfing paradise with its Challenger, Champion, and Charger nines. The legacy of Arnold Palmer, who acquired the club in 1974 and nurtured it until his passing in 2016, lives on through his daughter Amy and son-in-law Roy Saunders, the current custodians of this esteemed establishment.

Bay Hill Club & Lodge is more than a golfing venue; it's a well-known venue for any golfers. Since its inception in 1979, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, has established itself as a pivotal arena for the PGA TOUR, a must-attend spectacle for the most ardent golf fans. Amidst the radiant sunshine of Bay Hill each spring, the tournament is a legacy, where champions ascend and a community of global fans unites.
